Earn:
Earn points on your everyday purchases using your Scene+ Scotiabank and Tangerine cards.
You can also earn bonus points on select purchases.
Redeem:
Redeem points for cash or credit on eligible Scene+ Scotiabank & Tangerine cards linked to your Scene+ account.
Redeem points on travel purchases made on eligible Scene+ Scotiabank & Tangerine cards linked to your Scene+ account.
Groceries

Redeem 1,000 Scene+ points for $10 off your groceries.

Convenience
Earn:
Atlantic Canada: Earn 1 point for every $2 spent, including lottery purchases.
Outside Atlantic Canada: Earn 1 point for every $2 spent, excluding lottery purchases.
Redeem:
Scene+ points cannot be redeemed at Needs Convenience locations.
Pharmacy
Earn:
Retail: Earn points on select health and wellness essentials and with in‑store weekly offers.
Prescription (Nova Scotia, Manitoba & Saskatchewan only): Earn 2 points for every $1 spent on the full cost of prescriptions (not just the copay), up to 5,000 points per day.
Redeem:
Redeem 1,000 points for $10 towards eligible in‑store purchases.
Prescription redemption available only where allowed by law (Nova Scotia, Manitoba & Saskatchewan).

Movies & Concession
Earn:
Earn 3-6 points for every $1 you spend on movie tickets or food & drinks.
Redeem:
Redeem 100 points for $1 you can use on movie tickets, food, or drinks.
Redeem 500 points for $5 off other purchases.

Earn:
Earn 1 point for every $1 spent on food and drinks, gaming, and entertainment purchases.

Redeem 500 points for $5 towards your purchase.

Earn:
Earn 3 Scene+ points for every $1 spent on hotels, car rentals, and Things To Do when booking through Scene+ Travel.

Earn:
Earn 50 Scene+ points for every $50 spent at Home Hardware, in‑store or online at HomeHardware.ca.
Redeem:
Redeem 1,000 points for $10 off your purchase, in‑store or online.

Dining
Earn:
Earn 1 point for every $3 spent on dine‑in, drive‑thru, or takeout.
Earn additional points when you load your dining offers in your Scene+ account.
Redeem:
Redeem 500 points for $5 towards dine‑in, drive‑thru, or takeout purchases.
Gift Cards
Earn:
Gift cards purchased through your Scene+ account or at partner locations will not earn Scene+ points outside of promotions.
Redeem:
Redeem Scene+ points for gift cards from 60+ popular brands such as Cineplex, Ultimate Dining, Sobeys, Home Hardware, Shell, and Apple through your Scene+ account.
Redeem with as little as 1,000 points for digital or physical gift cards.
Additional gift card offers may appear throughout the year for extra value.
Online Shopping
Earn:
Earn up to 20% Cash Back in Scene+ points by linking your Scene+ card and shopping through Scene+ Rakuten offers.
Cash Back converts to Scene+ points at 100 points for every $14 earned.
Points are automatically deposited into your Scene+ account at the end of each quarter.
Redeem:
Scene+ points cannot be redeemed with Rakuten.
Merchandise
As of January 2024, Scene+ no longer offers Best Buy or Apple merchandise as a redemption option. Members can still redeem their points for Best Buy and Apple gift cards through their Scene+ account.
