How to earn with Scene+ and Rakuten

Link accounts

Start by connecting your Rakuten.ca and Scene+™ accounts. This one-time setup lets your Cash Back be converted into Scene+™ points. Learn how to link your accounts here.

Shop

Begin every purchase by visiting Rakuten.ca. Find the shop or online store you want, then select Shop Now to activate tracking.

Validate

After clicking through, you’ll see a confirmation message letting you know tracking is active. This step is important to make sure your purchase is eligible.

Purchase

Complete your order as usual on the retailer’s website. As long as tracking is active, your purchase will qualify for Cash Back.

How Scene+ and Rakuten work together

Your Cash Back is converted into Scene+ points at a rate of $0.01 per 1 Scene+ point. Once the retailer confirms your purchase, Rakuten adds the Cash Back to your Rakuten account.

Every three months, your Cash Back is automatically deposited as Scene+ points into your Scene+ account. You'll receive an email when your points are added, so you know when they're ready to use.
