How do I earn and redeem Scene+ points at restaurants?

Love dining out or grabbing takeout? With Scene+, you can get and use points at more than 700 participating restaurant locations across Canada.

To earn Scene+ points, show your physical or digital Scene+ card when you pay at participating restaurants, including Harvey’s, Swiss Chalet, East Side Mario’s, Montana’s, Bier Markt, and Kelsey’s.

How to earn Scene+ points at restaurants

• You earn 1 Scene+ point for every $3 you spend before tax on eligible dine-in, drive-thru, or takeout purchases.

• You can boost the number of points you get by loading dining offers in your Scene+ account before you order.

• You may also earn additional points when you pay with a qualifying Scotiabank credit card.

How to redeem Scene+ points at restaurants

• You can use your Scene+ points to get 500 points for $5 off your dine-in, drive-thru, or takeout bill at participating restaurants.

• You can also redeem points toward dining gift cards through your Scene+ account by going to Rewards and selecting Gift Cards.

Good to know before you dine

• If you use a CAA discount, restaurant coupon, or an app-based discount on your receipt, you'll earn base points only, and bonus offer points won't apply.

• Points from eligible restaurant purchases usually appear in your Scene+ account within 48 hours.
