Scene+ Travel lets you earn and use Scene+ points when booking hotels, car rentals, and Things to Do, such as activities, tours, theme parks, and cultural experiences.
How do I access Scene+ Travel?
You can access Scene+ Travel by:
Signing in to your Scene+ account
Selecting Rewards → Travel → Book Now with Scene+ Travel
You can also go directly to the Scene+ Travel site and sign in with your Scene+ account credentials.
It’s important to know that Scene+ Travel is powered by Expedia, which fulfills all bookings.
You won't earn or redeem Scene+ points when booking directly on Expedia.
Points are only earned and redeemed when you book through Scene+ Travel while signed in to your Scene+ account.
Earning points with Scene+ Travel
When you book through Scene+ Travel, you earn 3 Scene+ points for every $1 spent on eligible hotels, car rentals, and Things to Do, excluding taxes and fees.
You may also earn extra points during promotional campaigns.
Flights booked through Scene+ Travel don't earn Scene+ points.
However, if you use a Scotiabank card linked to your Scene+ account, you'll still earn base Scene+ points on all travel purchases, including flights.
Points earned through Scene+ Travel are added to your Scene+ account within six weeks after you complete your travel itinerary.
You can still earn points even if you pay for part or all of your booking using Scene+ points.
Redeeming points with Scene+ Travel
You can redeem Scene+ points directly at checkout for any eligible travel booking made through Scene+ Travel.
If your Scene+ account is linked to a Scotiabank card, you can also use Apply Points to Travel for Scene+ Travel bookings that were paid for with your linked card.

You can pay using:
Scene+ points
A valid debit or credit card
Or a combination of both
The redemption rate is 100 Scene+ points for $1, and you can choose how many points to use, starting from as little as one point.
Insurance
Travel insurance is available for flights, hotels, and car rentals booked through Scene+ Travel, but not for Things to Do.
Insurance must be paid for with a debit or credit card.
Scene+ points can’t be used to pay for insurance, and insurance purchases don't earn Scene+ points.
