Redeeming Scene+ points with Tangerine
Scene+ points can be redeemed for groceries, travel, fuel, dining, entertainment and more. Plus, Tangerine cardholders get access to exclusive redemption categories like Points for Credit and Apply Points to Travel.
Points for Credit
Points for Credit lets you redeem Scene+ points toward the balance of a Tangerine Rewards World Elite® Mastercard® linked to your Scene+ account. Redemptions will be applied to the credit card as a statement credit.
The redemption rate for Points for Credit is 150 points for $1.
Here's how:
Step 1: Sign in to your Scene+ account.
Step 2: Click Rewards → Points for Credit
Step 3: Choose your Tangerine Rewards World Elite® Mastercard®
Step 4: Select the redemption amount.
Step 5: Review details, read Terms & Conditions, then click Continue.
Step 6: Wait for the on‑screen confirmation that your request was submitted.
All Points for Credit redemptions are final and can’t be reversed or refunded.
Redemptions also can’t be stacked, so each request must be completed separately.
Apply Points to Travel
You can also redeem Scene+ points toward eligible travel purchases such as flights, hotels, resorts, car rentals, and transit. To make this type of redemption, the purchase must be paid for with the Tangerine Rewards World Elite® Mastercard® and redeemed within 12 months of the purchase date. Redemptions are applied as a statement credit.
The redemption rate for travel is 100 points for $1.
Here's how:
Step 1: Sign in to your Scene+ account.
Step 2: Click Rewards → Travel → Apply Points to Travel.
Step 3: Review How It Works and the Terms & Conditions.
Step 4: Select the Tangerine card used for the travel purchase.
Step 5: Select the exact month and year the transaction was posted.
Step 6: Choose the travel transaction you want to redeem against.
Step 7: Review and confirm the order, then click Continue.
Travel redemptions are final, and Scene+ points can’t be refunded, reversed, or customized.
If you don't have enough points to cover the full cost of a travel purchase, your entire points balance will be applied.
Each travel transaction can only be redeemed once, and you have up to one year from the purchase date to redeem, starting with your oldest eligible transactions.
